First of all, the review websites are worthless. Most of the bad reviews are written by employees at other hotels or disgruntled former employees. The good reviews are often written by the hotel's management. Go with either the AAA diamond ratings or Mobil star ratings. You know these can't be manipulated.
Most of the hotels in Indian Rocks Beach are older. They're clean, just wouldn't be very up to date. There are some newer hotels a few miles north on Sand Key in Clearwater and further south between Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach.Any advice to help me find an up to date, CLEAN hotel either in Anna Maria Island or Indian Rocks Beach,Fla.TY
You might try a few miles down the road from IRB is Redington Shores/Beach. You might have better luck there or Madeira Beach.
