Belly button piercing advice... help?

I'm 15 and my mom absolutely DESPISES piercings (and i am not over-exaggerating one bit). She let me get my 2nd piercing in my ear lobe about a month ago. I was shocked that she even let me do that. I absolutely LOVE piercings :) Plus, they're kind of like a way for me to rebel against my insane mother. lmao.

I also want to know if there's any way that I can either get it pierced or do it myself without my mom finding out...

Depends where you live as to what the piercing laws are.


But you really really shouldn't do it yourself. Its a surface piercing, and prone to rejection as it is.

Unless you know someone personally who does piercings on their own, you will need mom or dad with you to get it done.


At the piercing studio they ask for the adult's identification in order to make sure they are your parent.


You could do it yourself but it may turn out crooked, or worse- infected.
I think it would look cute. You have a little lip of skin that's perfect for it.


However, a reputable piercer won't do it unless one of your parents is with you.
