Suspended License? Need advice/help?

I live in IL and I have a suspended license





I've been caught 2 time in IL


And once in WI where I went to jail in Rock County for a day and half.





I have a court date tomorrow for my FIRST offense.





I'm wondering what I should plead to give myself a good chance of NOT going back to jail as it was not a pleasant experience.





The reason why my license got suspended was for unpaid fees and for having 2 stops within a year as I am 18.





I do have an excuse for driving when I got caught the first time. I was homeless and living out of my car and I was on my way to go stay with a friend for a couple weeks.


Also wondering if I should bring that up.

It's best not to make excuses in court. Admit your wrongdoing and hope the judge is lenient. Tell the judge you understand what you did was wrong and it will never happen again.
