i find it very hard to diet and work out i lose my breath all too quickly and it ends up with me getting frustrated and eating more than i started off!

I'm pretty well educated with fitness and dieting (go figure!) except i can NEVER follow what i've learned.

ugh can someone recommend a diet that has WORKED for them?

i have tried EVERYTHING under the sun and most things will simply not work for me! its so discouraging to say the very least.

can someone recommend a diet and exercise program that has helped them and one that wont be like throwing me to the sharks?

i love yoga of that helps except i haven't done it in a VERY long while so i have lost most of my flexibility.

any advice is greatly GREATLY GREATLY appreciated.

p.s---i dislike most veggies and cant stand the feeling or taste of salad in my mouth it makes me cringe and go nuts.

p.p.s---i used to love exercise so anything fun and upbeat but not too upbeat will be great!Overweight need advice/help! please!?
I've lost a hundred pounds in the past 16 months. The biggest key for me has been to remember that it took me many years to put the weight on, it will take years to take it off. Permanent weight loss is not something that happens quickly. You can't ';diet';, you have to make a lifestyle change.

For me, my goal at first has Not been to put on muscle so I didn't exercise. I just dieted. I did a variation of the Atkins, Low Carb, Diet. I called it The Cave Man Diet. If a cave man couldn't have had it, then you don't eat it. The only exceptions have been some condiments, sugar substitutes and cheese. After a month of living on 22 carbs a day, I started to give myself a little more room but I try to stay under 40 carbs a day. Also I allow myself 1 cheat meal a week, but I don't go overboard.

Now I find bread to be tasteless and pasta too. If I eat a hamburger, I take the bread off first.

Now that I'm down in my weight, I have started to exercise a little. I take Karate and I'm a green belt. The classes are a half hour at a time, 2-3 times a week.

Good luck.Overweight need advice/help! please!?
Discipline yourself especially in your diet. Eat more in the morning and eat less in the evening. Avoid salty, sweet, and fatty foods. Exercise regularly.
Don't eat junk food, and drink water instead of soda...I lost 30 pounds doing that...
Try eating some Quaker oats for breakfast. 2/3 cup of oats, sprinkle on a little cinnamon. Shake the bowl a little to mix up the oats and cinnamon, add (2) 2/3 cup of water and microwave for 2 minutes. You will start loosing weight (use unsweetened oats) Try this for a few days and see how much weight you loose. I am diabetic and I started doing this and my sugar has went down. I also lost 5 lbs. I am a male.(I have been up as high as 275lbs. I have gotten down to 240 and evened out. I started with the oats and am staying around 235) and as long as I stay away from ice cream I think I can loose more weight.
i am 190 and 5 2 i was 210 when i moved in with my bf and 220 when i went to college all u have to do is remove the temptation when i was at home my parents had tons of junk food around when i went to college they still bought it for me but when i was out i was out and when i moved out totally i quit buying it and went health food my bf wont eat fruits or veggies so i try to get the fat and grease out of the food and i watch what i eat and like i said remove temptation if there is a snack food u really like and u always turn to dont buy it like if u want a brownie go to a gas station and buy just one if u like candy bars instead of buying the 6 pack of them just by 1 or 2 for the week i only buy like 1 bag of chips a month and my bf has them gone in 3 days as far as work outs go on a walk or go to the store and buy magaziens that have work outs in them and do those at home in spair time
Exercise: I lost 10 lbs in 4 months when I was signed up for self defence classes and I was not overweight at the time (5'5'; and 130 at start, 5'5'; and 120 at end of 4 months) I had classes 3 times a week for an hour or so. It helped me increase my flexibility. It was fun and besides getting in shape I learned how to defend myself if attacked.

Diet: Switch soda to water or juice and make sure you have a salad/veggies you like for a meal maybe once or twice a week, when you eat meals, don't feel guilty if you can't eat everything on your plate and take less food than you think will sedate your hunger. if you still feel hungry afterwards, then only give yourself a little bit more. Also have a very small snack between meals, this will help get your metabolism up with will help when losing weight. Under this diet, I lost another 5 pounds (from 5'5'; and 120 to 5'5'; and 115)

It may be a good idea to try these together and I hope this helps you lose weight the way it helped me.
