Hi, I am considering back surgery fusion,but I'm scared. I am reading and looking at the board for any suggestions and want to know about fusion. How long does it take to heal and before you are back on your feet and what type of meds are given. I have been suffering for 10 yrs with lower back pain, I have gone to P.T.,had injections, pain management,which was a night mare for me it was hard I could not handle it. I am looking for people who can advice me and have had a fusion done to help me make a decision, to whether or not have a fusion done. L5-S1 and a bugle a disc. any advice would be nice thank you.Contemplating lower back surgery fusion. Need advice help!?
