I need some advice? help?

My father and mother divorced when I was 12, since then he hasn't really been in touch with me until a few years ago. (i'm 21 now) He had another child 5 years ago and since they have split up. The mother of the child lost custody of him because she has a drug problem, now my dad and his new girlfriend has full custody of him. They live in a different state. My dad lets my little brother come in on weekends to stay with our grandmother, the baby has told me on several different occasions that the new girlfriend is mean to him, doesn't like and tells my dad this in front of him, and refuses to watch him. Since this all came out, my dad takes the baby to day care at 6am and leave him until 9pm and later, just whenever he gets off work. My dad stopped letting him come in when my grandmother let him to talk to his mom on the phone. He recently came in, this past weekend. The baby has lost around 6 pounds and he just looks terrible. When he is home, he has to stay in his room and play. And apparently the new girlfriend is mentally abusing him, i guess you could say. She talks about his mother, how mean he is. And honestly, he's the best kid ever.


I'm worried about him. I worry that she may be doing more to him than he's telling. He's very quiet and getting him to talk is like pulling teeth. I was wondering, since I am the only sister and I am of age. Is there anything that I could do legally? I live with my mother, we have a stable home, she does daycare, I have a good income, reliable transportation.. Is there anything, that I could do??? I need some advice.I need some advice? help?
